I spent most of a day talking to the team that made this BBC World Service radio documentary about refrigerators. I even went to visit Fresh Pond in Cambridge, MA with them, home of the first commercial ice harvests. [It turns out it’s very near the school where I went through Seventh Grade, but that’s another story…]. Would somebody please listen to the whole thing and tell me if I ought to publicize my role in it, or whether it’s just incidental? It’s not just that I hate listening to the sound of my own voice. [Yes, I know I have to get over that]. I’m off to a food conference in Texas tomorrow so I’m about to get really busy.
